Man Mohini

When A.R. Rahman put a simple four chord progression over Raga Bhimpalasi (Indian classical scale roughly corresponding to the Dorian mode in Western music) for a song in the film Yuvvraaj, I was immediately entranced. Years ago I put out a cover video for the song, Man Mohini, sung originally by the amazing Vijay Prakash. It is still one of my most watched videos to date. 

Eleven years later in a different city and a different time in my life, I am sharing a reenergized version with lush synths, elements of trap rhythms and other hip hop beats.
